Great HIV and AIDS problem
There are big problems in the health sector. Namibia is one of the countries with the highest rates of HIV / AIDS in the world: In 2003, according to UN data, 22% of the population aged 15 to 49 were infected. Life expectancy has fallen from 61 years (1991) to 48 years (2003). HIV / AIDS has the worst impact on family structures and social relationships. It is already estimated 100,000 AIDS orphans.
